Esspee Fabrications Ltd, established in 1964, is the UK’s leading machinist and fabricator of engineering composites and thermal and electrical insulation materials. The company is accredited to ISO 2015 and uses advanced CNC and press technology to manufacture bespoke components. Esspee serves a broad range of industries worldwide, offering tailored solutions to meet diverse engineering and insulation needs. The commercial team works closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, reliable products.

The UK operation consists of a regional office in Halesowen/Stourbridge on the border of the West Midlands and a manufacturing plant in Merseyside.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Stourbridge.

The position would suit an engineer with commercial acumen looking to progress in the next step of their career. The role will be to initially be a welcome addition to the team under the large workload that the current team already face.

This position would suit an Engineer or Sales Engineer that has worked in the Thermal or Electrical industry that is using non-metallic, high-temperature materials and is willing to learn about them further.

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Generating qualified leads
  • Building a strong pipeline of prospects

The role includes:

  • Managing and growing existing accounts
  • Preparing quotations and proposals
  • Maintaining regular contact to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

The Business Development Executive will collaborate with internal teams to align client requirements with production capabilities and support the development of sales strategies. Daily tasks also include:

  • Market research
  • Attending customer meetings
  • Tracking performance against targets
  • Providing accurate sales reporting
