Business Development Executive

Turn Waste Into Opportunity. Build Relationships. Make Great Money.

Some sales jobs are all about selling the same product to the same people every day. This isn't one of them.

We're looking for a commercially minded, energetic Business Development Executive to join a growing, market-leading business operating in the construction and infrastructure sector.

You don't need industry experience. In fact, we'd rather hire the right person with the right attitude.

What matters is that you're curious, driven, enjoy speaking to people and aren't afraid to roll your sleeves up to understand how things work. One day you could be in the office identifying opportunities. The next, you're out visiting customers, walking a site, following a tipper lorry's journey, and uncovering commercial opportunities others have completely missed.

If the idea of spotting an opportunity, picking up the phone, building relationships and making things happen excites you, you'll fit right in.

What's the role?

You'll be helping construction businesses find smarter, more sustainable ways to move and reuse materials between sites.

Think soil, aggregates, excavated material and construction by-products that would otherwise become waste.

Your job is to identify opportunities, engage new customers, build long-term relationships and create commercial solutions that benefit everyone involved.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
