About: We’re recruiting for a rapidly growing tech business looking for a driven new business sales professional to join their expanding commercial team. They build a market-leading SaaS platform powering payments, POS, and commercial operations for some of the UK's biggest live events, stadiums, festivals, and entertainment venues.

The Role:

  • Generate and develop new business across the events and venue technology market
  • Own the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects and building pipeline through to product demonstrations, commercial negotiations, and closing new business
  • Work closely with a high-performing commercial team to target organisations across live events, stadiums, arenas, festivals, theatres, and multi-vendor hospitality environments
  • Build relationships with senior commercial and operational stakeholders
  • Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Deliver product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have sales experience in one of the following:
    • Point of Sale (POS) technology
    • Payments or payment technology
    • Venue technology
    • Ticketing technology
    • Hospitality technology
    • Integrated software platforms supporting the events industry
  • Should also have:
    • At least 3 years' B2B commercial sales experience
    • A proven track record of winning new business
    • Experience managing complex sales cycles
    • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
    • A proactive, organised, and self-motivated approach
