About the Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in helping Attivo continue to grow by engaging prospective clients and developing opportunities from outbound telephone activity, enquiries, marketing campaigns, events, and strategic partnerships. Working closely with our Financial Planners, you will build positive relationships with prospective clients, take the time to understand their goals and circumstances, and identify suitable opportunities to arrange introductory meetings. You will be one of the first points of contact for many clients, helping to ensure they receive a professional and positive experience from their first interaction with Attivo.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will work towards individual and team objectives while maintaining excellent client service standards. You will also support Financial Planners by providing detailed qualification notes, managing appointment attendance, and maintaining contact with prospects where required to support the onboarding journey. The role would suit a motivated and personable individual who enjoys building relationships, communicating with people, and delivering excellent customer service. You'll be highly organised, resilient, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment, with a genuine desire to help prospective clients take the next step in their financial planning journey.
About You
You are a confident communicator with a genuine passion for helping people and building relationships. You enjoy engaging with prospective clients, asking the right questions, and understanding their needs to identify suitable opportunities. You will have experience with telesales, business development, or lead generation in a customer-focused role. You are comfortable handling objections, working towards targets, and managing multiple prospects simultaneously. You are highly organised, resilient, and motivated by achieving results while delivering an exceptional experience for every interaction. You are equally comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team, ensuring accurate records are maintained and following structured processes to support both client and business outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
