Role Description

The role involves:

  • Preparing proposals, quotes, and presentations
  • Negotiating terms
  • Collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery

The Business Development Executive monitors market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes. The role also requires:

  • Maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Meeting agreed sales targets
  • Representing KCM at industry events, site visits, and networking activities

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in business development, sales, with experience building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence interacting with clients at all levels.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, including managing a sales pipeline, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations), and remote collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of waste management, environmental services, or related industries is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to travel within the region for client visits and site meetings as required.
  • Proven field sales experience would be highly desirable.
