Business Development Executive
South East - Kent, Sittingbourne and Canterbury
Permanent, Full-time
Salary: up to £34,000 plus quarterly bonus of £2,000 if on target
Are you a commercially driven sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships and delivering results?
We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our team and play a key role in growing and strengthening Calor's network of partners and retailers.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage an established portfolio while identifying new business opportunities, driving growth, and developing strategic partnerships across your region. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As a Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for delivering growth and retention across a portfolio of network partners and retailers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing strong relationships with partners and retailers across your territory.
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
- Creating and implementing business plans that improve commercial performance.
- Negotiating agreements, renewals, and commercial opportunities that deliver mutual value.
- Delivering retention strategies to maintain a high-performing and engaged network.
- Using CRM systems and data insights to manage sales activity and maximise opportunities.
- Managing an active sales pipeline and delivering against growth targets.
- Supporting the implementation of pricing and commercial initiatives.
- Driving data-led sales campaigns and business development activities.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across Commercial, Operations, and Asset Management teams to enhance performance and customer experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- At least 3 years' experience in a business development, field sales, account management, or commercial role.
- A proven track record of achieving sales and growth targets.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Experience working with both B2B and B2C customers.
- The ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to managing a territory.
- Confidence using CRM systems and digital sales tools.
