The Role
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and contributing directly to business growth within a supportive, high-performing sales environment.
Working as part of a national sales team, this role is focused on driving revenue growth by securing new business opportunities in line with the regional sales strategy.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a targeted prospect portfolio, primarily comprising cold prospects, and will be responsible for generating high-quality meetings through proven WTW prospecting and contact management strategies. The role requires the ability to research publicly available information, identify key decision-makers, and develop tailored outreach campaigns that resonate with prospective clients.
In addition, the role will support the delivery of WTW's events programme, helping to drive prospect engagement and maximise attendance at key events.

We are able to consider a number of locations for this role, including Reading, Bristol, and Birmingham.
- Proactively drive sales activity to secure new business meetings and generate qualified opportunities.
- Execute targeted prospecting strategies, supported by the wider sales team, to build and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
- Initiate contact with allocated prospects and nurture relationships through the early stages of the sales cycle.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across WTW to progress opportunities through the sales process, identifying client needs and demonstrating value at every stage.
- Support the planning and delivery of WTW events, ensuring strong prospect engagement and attendance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and pipeline activity within WTW's CRM systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrable experience of successfully navigating major and mid-market sales processes.
- The ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of WTW's products and services, together with knowledge of the competitive marketplace.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage senior decision-makers.
- A proven client- and prospect-focused approach.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess information, identify opportunities and recommend value-led solutions.
- Experience of working within structured sales processes and using CRM systems to manage and track business development activity.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable operating within a proactive new business environment.
