Business Development Executive

Aventum Search is partnered with a leading insurance client seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth in its commercial insurance offering across London. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing UK, you'll grow existing relationships and win new ones with law firms, banks, funds, and receivers.

What you'll do

  • Own revenue and profitability targets across an allocated London client base
  • Build and execute annual sales plans and budgets
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers at law firms, banks, funds, and receivers, up to Board level
  • Create and deliver selling strategies across agreed target markets
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client seminars
  • Report to senior leadership on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity
  • Mentor sales and underwriting colleagues on sales technique, market conditions, and relationship management
  • Work within FCA and PRA Conduct Rules, AML procedures, and internal audit requirements
