I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who are we looking for?
Your degree subject isn't particularly important.
We're looking for people who are:
- Curious. You like learning and asking questions.
- Confident. You're comfortable starting conversations with new people.
- Ambitious. You want to build a career, not simply find your first job.
- Resilient. You understand that not every conversation results in a yes.
- Personable. You can build rapport and communicate naturally.
- Driven. You like having goals and working towards them.
- Interested in technology. You don't need to be technical, but you should be interested in how technology is changing the world.
Most importantly, we're looking for people with the right attitude.

Our recruitment process is different
We don't want to judge graduates purely from a CV or a traditional interview.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a Joskos Graduate Assessment Centre.
You'll meet our team, work through practical activities and have the opportunity to show us how you think, communicate, collaborate and solve problems.
We're looking for potential, not polished interview answers.

Apply through LinkedIn and tell us a little about yourself.
You might not have sales experience yet. That's fine. Bring the attitude. We'll help you build the skills.
