Role Description
The Business Development Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in South Tyneside. The individual in this role will identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, and actively generate leads through outreach, networking, and market research. Daily responsibilities include engaging prospective clients, presenting Apex Time Critical’s logistics solutions, managing client inquiries, and preparing proposals and quotations. The role involves close collaboration with operations and account management teams to ensure service offerings align with customer needs and support long-term relationships. The Business Development Executive will also track performance metrics, report on sales activities, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

- Skills in New Business Development and Business, with the ability to identify opportunities, build a sales pipeline, and drive revenue growth.
- Skills in Lead Generation and Account Management, including nurturing prospects, converting leads, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to conduct effective presentations, negotiate, and interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ideally, experience in logistics, transportation, or related industries and a track record in B2B sales or business development.
- Relevant qualification, such as a degree or diploma in Business, Sales, or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience.
- Self-motivation, resilience, effective time management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on-site.
