Role Description
The Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Cardiff. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects, and supporting revenue growth across iungo’s training solutions. Day-to-day tasks include researching target markets, generating and qualifying leads, conducting discovery calls, delivering tailored presentations, and supporting proposal and bid development. The role involves managing relationships with key accounts, collaborating with internal teams to align offerings with client needs, and tracking performance against sales targets. The Business Development Executive will also contribute to market feedback, help refine go-to-market strategies, and represent iungo at meetings, events, and industry forums.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to build and grow a sustainable client pipeline.
- Strong Business acumen, with the ability to understand client challenges and align training solutions to strategic objectives.
- Excellent Communication skills, including confident presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience in Account Management, nurturing long-term client relationships and supporting renewals and upsell opportunities.
- Prior experience in B2B training, education, or technology services is beneficial.
- Comfort working to targets, using CRM tools, and interpreting sales and performance data.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in business, sales, or related fields is advantageous.
