Business Development Executive (Remote / Flexible Working)

Mesh is a growing MEP and sustainability consultancy, and we're looking for a Business Development Executive to help drive our next stage of growth in an ever-changing, exciting market.

This role would suit someone with 1+ years' experience in sales, business development, account management, or another client-facing role who enjoys building relationships and developing new business opportunities.

Unlike many sales roles, you'll inherit a warm network of architects, developers, and contractors who already know Mesh Energy through previous projects and CPD events. Rather than high-volume cold calling, you'll focus on building relationships, understanding client requirements, and converting opportunities into proposals and new business. Working closely with our engineers and consultants, you'll learn how technical consultancy services are sold, develop commercial skills, and play a key role in supporting the growth of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
