About Shared Apprenticeships

Shared Apprenticeships is a Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency. We employ, mentor and support apprentices through flexible hosted placements across the construction industry and wider built environment, working with local employers to create high-quality opportunities that help apprentices gain valuable skills and experience.
We support apprentices to develop skills across a wide range of trades, including Bricklaying, Carpentry, Groundworks, Plastering and Scaffolding, as well as technical roles such as Site Management, Quantity Surveying and Design & Build.
Our approach delivers real results.

About the Role

We're looking for an ambitious, target-driven New Business Development Executive to help grow our network of host employers across the South West.
This is a pure new business role. Your focus will be identifying, approaching and securing new construction employers who can host our apprentices on temporary placements. You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, presenting our service and converting opportunities into new partnerships.

Please note: This is a salaried new business development role, focused on developing meaningful employer partnerships and expanding opportunities for apprentices. While the role includes business development targets, it is not a commission-based sales position.

We're looking for someone who enjoys developing new relationships, creating opportunities and growing our employer network while making a positive social impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
