Role Description

The Business Development Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in the United Kingdom. The person in this role will identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors, including public and private organizations needing integrated facilities management solutions. The Business Development Executive will collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and senior leadership to align client solutions with service capabilities, contribute to bid responses, and support pricing strategies. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, gathering market intelligence, and reporting on performance metrics and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within facilities management, property services, or related industries.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management, with the ability to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships, conduct professional presentations, and negotiate contracts and commercial terms.
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales processes, tendering and bid development, and working with public and private sector clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to craft clear proposals and reports.
  • High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfort working with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and basic Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
  • Proactive, results-focused mindset with analytical skills to interpret market data and performance metrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and marketing.
  • Knowledge of integrated facilities management, security, cleaning, and property maintenance services is highly beneficial.
  • Full UK work authorization and willingness to travel to client sites across the United Kingdom as required.
