A leading top international law firm is looking to recruit a Client Development Executive to join its highly regarded Private Client division in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing and business development professional with experience within a legal or professional services environment to join a collaborative, high-performing team. Working closely with Partners and senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting client development initiatives, marketing campaigns, events, pitches and relationship management across one of the firm's most prestigious practice areas.
The Opportunity
As a Client Development Executive, you will support the firm's award-winning Private Client team by delivering a broad range of business development and marketing activities. This is a varied role offering exposure to senior stakeholders, high-profile clients and strategic marketing initiatives, with occasional travel to regional UK offices.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pitches
- Prepare and maintain pitch documents, credentials, capability statements and marketing collateral.
- Support the production of formal and informal pitch materials, fee earner biographies, case studies and client communications.
- Assist with client research, meeting preparation and follow-up actions.
- Maintain experience databases and ensure marketing content is regularly updated.
- Produce presentations for both client-facing and internal purposes.

Marketing & Campaigns
- Create and distribute client newsletters and e-marketing communications.
- Support the delivery of practice-specific and firmwide marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with the central marketing and design teams to produce high-quality marketing materials.
Directories & Awards
- Coordinate submissions for leading legal directories and industry awards, including Chambers and Legal 500.
- Draft submissions in collaboration with Partners and lawyers.
- Manage research interview schedules and maintain practice profiles.
- Communicate directory and award outcomes across the business.
Events
- Assist with the planning and delivery of client events, seminars, webinars, receptions and hospitality events.
- Coordinate suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
- Support the firm's attendance at external networking and industry events across the UK.
Client Relationships & CRM
- Maintain and develop marketing lists using the firm's CRM system.
- Support client targeting initiatives and business development reporting.
- Assist with client and market research projects.
- Promote CRM best practice across the business and support data quality initiatives.
- Produce reports on marketing and client development activity.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within legal marketing, business development or a professional services environment.
- Previous experience working within an international law firm or professional services organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience producing high-quality marketing materials and business development documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work closely with senior professionals.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work to a consistently high standard.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM or e-marketing platforms such as InterAction or Vuture would be advantageous.
