7formation is looking for a driven and personable Business Development Executive to join our team in Corby.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and making things happen. You’ll play an important part in developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the company.

What you’ll be doing as our Business Development Executive:
As our Business Development Executive, you’ll:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Understand customer requirements and present the right solutions for their needs.
- Work towards and achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, customer activity, and communications within our CRM.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts to help track performance and future opportunities.
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and the wider business to support company goals.
- Share market and customer insight to help shape our sales and marketing activity.
- Take part in sales training, workshops, and team meetings to continually develop your knowledge and skills.

What we’re looking for in our Business Development Executive:
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a sales, business development, sales representative, or similar customer-focused commercial role.
You’ll also be someone who:
- Communicates confidently and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Is proactive and comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.
- Builds positive, professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Takes ownership and follows through on commitments.
- Is organised and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Has a positive, flexible approach and enjoys being part of a team.
- Is reliable, accountable, and takes pride in delivering a professional service.
