Business Development Executive

Pair.Care & Rotagap

We’re looking for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join Pair.Care and Rotagap in Glasgow.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to people, spotting opportunities and turning conversations into genuine sales opportunities. You’ll play an important role in building our pipeline and helping both businesses grow.

Experience in SaaS, technology, healthcare or social care is highly desirable, but we’re particularly interested in people with strong communication skills, commercial curiosity and the drive to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Research target organisations and identify new business opportunities across Pair.Care and Rotagap.
  • Build and manage a pipeline through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, networking and research.
  • Make initial contact with prospective customers and confidently introduce our products and services.
  • Qualify leads, understand customer needs and arrange meetings and demonstrations for the wider sales team.
  • Develop relationships with prospects and keep opportunities moving through the sales process.
  • Support sales meetings, proposals, presentations and follow-up activity.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor target markets, competitors and industry developments to uncover new opportunities.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Pair.Care and Rotagap to support commercial growth.
  • Contribute ideas to improve our business development approach as the companies continue to grow.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • A confident, proactive and positive approach to business development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The confidence to pick up the phone, start conversations and build relationships.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and follow-ups.
  • Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in winning new business.
  • A resilient, target-focused approach with the motivation to learn and improve.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and standard sales and productivity tools.
  • Glasgow-based and able to work from our Glasgow office.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in business development, telesales, inside sales or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience working for a SaaS, technology or health-tech business.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, social care or other regulated sectors.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and working towards sales targets or KPIs.
