Based in Manchester
This full-time permanent role will help grow revenue across Manchester City’s premium matchday and hospitality offer. Working Monday to Friday in a hybrid pattern from our Manchester office, you will build meaningful commercial relationships, develop new opportunities and help create memorable experiences for customers and guests.

Within our Hospitality Sales team, we create premium experiences that bring customers closer to Manchester City on matchdays and throughout the season. Through thoughtful service, commercial insight and collaborative delivery, the team helps turn hospitality opportunities into lasting relationships and sustainable revenue.
The Role
As Business Development Executive, you will play a central role in growing sales across match-by-match and seasonal hospitality. You will identify new opportunities, develop a healthy pipeline and connect customers with premium experiences that match their needs, while contributing to the wider commercial success of Manchester City.
You will lead proactive prospecting and targeted sales activity, turning qualified opportunities into revenue and helping existing customers discover additional ways to enjoy the Club. This will include supporting tactical campaigns, arranging face-to-face appointments, and using clear targets and performance measures to guide your priorities.

The role also includes matchday involvement, with opportunities to build relationships through client entertaining and networking. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the hospitality operation, you will help deliver a considered customer experience from first conversation through to matchday and beyond.
What You’ll Bring
- ⚽ Experience delivering revenue growth and sales targets in a customer-facing B2B or B2C environment.
- ⚽ Experience selling high-value products, packages or services, ideally within hospitality, events, leisure or a related commercial setting.
- ⚽ Ability to research prospects, generate leads and manage a personal pipeline through to conversion.
- ⚽ Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence a range of stakeholders.
- ⚽ A proactive and organised approach to planning sales activity, managing time and maintaining accurate attention to detail.
- ⚽ Comfort working collaboratively in a target-led environment and contributing to matchday client entertaining and networking.
