Marketing & Business Development Executive

Our client is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Executive:

Marketing & Business Development Executive — Position Overview:

You will work across both marketing and business development, supporting the firm's continued growth through strategic marketing initiatives, legal directory submissions, CRM development and business development projects. Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Director and Business Development Director, you will play a key role in raising the firm's profile and supporting new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing & Business Development Executive:

  • Managing and coordinating legal directory submissions including Chambers, The Legal 500 and Spear's
  • Liaising with Partners and fee earners to prepare high-quality submissions and referee programmes
  • Supporting CRM initiatives and maintaining client intelligence systems
  • Assisting with business development campaigns, market research and client targeting
  • Coordinating client and referrer events, meetings and networking initiatives
  • Developing business development materials for pitches and proposals
  • Supporting the rollout, optimisation and ongoing management of the firm's CRM system
  • Maintaining business development resources and marketing information across the firm

Requirements of the Marketing & Business Development Executive:

  • At least 2 years' experience within marketing and/or business development working in a law firm, preferably a legal 500 firm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience organising events and supporting business development initiatives
  • Creative approach with strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
  • Knowledge of AI tools would be advantageous
