About UNYX

The financial infrastructure powering global trade is broken. Fast-growing, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) moving millions across borders are forced to pay exorbitant fees to a monopoly of traditional correspondent banks just to access basic settlement. UNYX is fixing that.

We are a fully regulated, AI-powered global settlement network that connects licensed financial institutions directly to instant, multi-currency liquidity. We are backed by the same visionary early investors who funded FinTech giants like Revolut, Monzo, Tide, and many more. We bypass the slow, expensive intermediaries so our clients can scale their cross-border flows profitably and with absolute confidence.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a relentless, high-velocity Business Development Executive to bring our payment rails to the world. Your sweet spot will be targeting agile, regulated financial institutions (EMIs, PSPs, MSBs, and remittance providers) typically in the 20 to 200 employee range. We are specifically targeting companies that operate in emerging markets or manage cross-border flows into complex, high-friction jurisdictions.

Note: This is not an enterprise banking sales role. If your background is managing 18-month procurement cycles with Tier-1 banks, this isn't for you. We need agile hunters who know how to identify pain points, leverage our deep industry credibility, get straight to the Founder/CEO, and close deals in 30 to 90 days.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You Will Do?

  • Targeted Hunting: Identify, prospect, and secure partnerships with Founders, CEOs, and Heads of Payments at mid-sized, regulated financial institutions globally.
  • Solve Complex Corridor Pain: Target companies struggling with high correspondent banking fees, delayed settlements, or trapped capital in emerging markets (LATAM, Africa, APAC), positioning UNYX as the ultimate direct-settlement alternative.
  • Drive High-Velocity Sales: Own the full sales cycle from cold outreach to closed-won. You will navigate 30-to-90 day sales cycles, skipping corporate bureaucracy to sell directly to agile decision-makers.
  • Consultative Execution: Conduct deep discovery calls to understand the specific cross-border friction points of mid-market players, clearly articulating how UNYX’s regulated rails provide instant liquidity and compliance.
  • Pipeline & Market Feedback: Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and act as the eyes and ears of the market, feeding back intelligence to our leadership team to shape our corridor expansion.

What We Are Looking For

  • Relevant Experience: 3–5 years of B2B sales experience selling cross-border payments, FX, or payment rails specifically to mid-market / scale-up financial institutions (EMIs, MSBs, PSPs).
  • The "Anti-Bank" Mindset: You understand how a 50-person FinTech operates versus a 50,000-person bank. You thrive on speed, direct access to founders, and fast decision-making.
  • Emerging Market Fluency: Experience working with or selling to companies that manage flows across difficult or emerging corridors is a massive advantage.
  • Relentless Drive: A true hunter mentality with a proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets through high-volume, strategic outbound execution.
  • Language Skills: Native-level English is required. Fluency in an additional language (Spanish, Portuguese, or French) to support emerging market outreach is highly desirable.

Why Join UNYX?

  • Unmatched Credibility: Pitch with supreme confidence knowing you are selling a fully regulated platform backed by the very investors who built Revolut, Monzo, and Tide.
  • Disruptive Product: Sell a platform that fundamentally changes how money moves globally, empowering the mid-market to bypass legacy banking monopolies.
  • Aggressive Compensation: Competitive base salary paired with a highly lucrative, uncapped commission structure that rewards quick closes and high volume.
  • True Flexibility: A remote-first/hybrid working model that focuses on outcomes and closed deals, not micromanagement.

How to Apply

Through LinkedIn, or submit your CV and a brief message outlining a recent deal you closed with a mid-market FI/FinTech in the payments space to matt.evans@unyx.ai
