Job Title: Business Development Executive: Financial Services
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: GBP26,500 starting salary (GBP27,500 after probation) + Performance Incentives, OTE GBP35,000:GBP38,000
Job Type: Permanent, Full time, Office Based
Start date: Training starts Monday 19 October 2026

If you've worked in sales, business development, account management, recruitment, customer service, retail, or hospitality, you may already have the skills we're looking for.
At Fortrade, you'll join as a Business Development Executive, working with clients who have already registered and shown an interest in our services.
You'll build professional relationships, understand client needs, introduce clients to our platform and products, and identify opportunities to develop those relationships.
This is not cold calling: You will be speaking with people who have already registered and shown an interest in our services.
Key Responsibilities
A few of the main day-to-day responsibilities:
- Speaking with clients who have already registered and shown an interest in Fortrade
- Building and developing professional client relationships
- Understanding client needs and communicating our platform and services clearly
- Supporting clients through the account-opening process
- Working towards individual and team performance targets
- Receiving ongoing coaching and developing communication and product knowledge

You don't need a finance degree or previous financial markets experience.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, account management, customer service, retail, hospitality, or financial services is welcome.

Training starts Monday 19 October 2026
Successful candidates from the initial interview stage will be invited to our one-week fully paid training programme.
You'll learn about the platform, products, communication, and compliance while demonstrating your suitability for the role.
Training is part of the selection process, followed by a Final Interview.
Successful candidates will then join the team.
