We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join our busy team in Snailwell (Cambridgeshire, England), where your energy, initiative and consultative sales approach will directly drive growth.

Business Development Executive
Duties: You will deliver sales growth across both new and existing business within your defined geographical area. You’ll build trust with customers and manufacturers, adopt a consultative approach to recommend solutions for industrial control and automation challenges, and keep close to the local market by maintaining a strong presence in the BPX branch. You’ll also support marketing activity (campaigns, promotions and events) and keep developing your technical and commercial knowledge to strengthen both customer outcomes and long-term account performance.

Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally with knowledge of the industrial distribution market
- Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities across new and existing accounts and partnerships
- Understanding of the relationships and market dynamics between manufacturers, distributors and customers
- Strong relationship-building skills with confident communication and genuine teamwork
- Customer-centric mindset: able to spot challenges, then present practical, value-led solutions
