Business Development Executive
My client, a growing construction contractor based in Hertfordshire, are seeking a proactive and organised Business Development Executive to support the day-to-day delivery of business development activities.
This role will assist with identifying and tracking new business opportunities, supporting tender and pre-qualification submissions (PQQs, EOIs, and SQQs), managing tender portal administration, and maintaining accurate records and document control. The position plays an important role in helping to build a strong pipeline of opportunities and ensuring the business is well positioned to secure future work.
Working closely with the wider team, you will support client communications, help coordinate pre-tender activities, assist with compliance administration, and contribute to maintaining positive client relationships. You may also be involved in post-contract follow-up, client satisfaction checks, networking events and industry engagement activities, helping to strengthen market presence and support repeat business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Previous experience in business development, construction, or a professional services environment would be advantageous
- Professional, enthusiastic, able to manage multiple priorities
- Eager to develop your career within a busy and growing business development team
