Perch Group is looking for a Business Development Executive to join the team!

What We Are Looking For

The Business Development Executive will support the Group’s sales function through proactive lead generation, market outreach, and pipeline development activity.

The role is designed as an entry-level commercial position focused on building future sales capability within the Group and will support the generation of qualified opportunities across both debt purchase and servicing lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activity through calls, email, LinkedIn, and market research.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across target sectors.
  • Arrange meetings and introductions for Business Development Managers.
  • Support BDMs with opportunity progression and sales administration.
  • Support marketing campaigns and lead follow-up activity.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of motivation, resilience, and willingness to learn.
  • Organized and proactive approach to work.
  • Interest in developing a career within business development and sales.

Application Timeline

  1. A first stage phone call with the internal talent acquisition team (15-minute call)
  2. An introductory call with the Commercial Director via Teams (30 minutes)
  3. A formal interview with the Commercial Director and another senior stakeholder (60 minutes)

  • £35,000, PLUS up to 20% of your annual salary, paid as a bonus.
  • This role is hybrid and is based between our Blackpool and Manchester offices.
  • 37.5 hours per week. We offer flexible and hybrid working between our core hours of 8am- 6pm, Monday to Friday.
