BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Milton Keynes · Full-time, Monday–Friday · Immediate availability preferred
A day in this role looks like this:
- You walk into a conversation with someone who's never heard of the brand you're representing.
- Ten minutes later, they have — and they understand why it's worth their time.
- That's the job. Not cold-calling a script, not sitting behind a screen — real conversations, face-to-face, across B2B, B2C and event campaigns, where the outcome depends on how well you listen before you pitch.
Some days you're working a campaign for a brand most people already trust. Other days you're introducing one they've never encountered. Either way, the target's the same: understand what the customer actually needs, represent the client properly, and turn that conversation into a result.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Is this you?
- Are you commercially minded? You don't need a sales background — but you need to enjoy figuring out what makes people say yes.
- Can you start a conversation with a stranger and make it worth their time? That's the core skill. Everything else — product knowledge, objection handling, closing — we train.
- Do you take ownership without being chased? Targets here are real, and the people who do well are the ones who treat them as theirs, not something imposed.
- Have you done sales or BD before? Welcome, but not required. Full training and mentorship are built into the role from day one.
What it pays and how you grow
- Earnings here are fully performance-based, paid weekly — OTE £28,000 - £32,000, uncapped.
- It's not a guaranteed salary; it reflects what you actually bring in, and top performers earn well beyond the OTE range.
- Alongside that: structured coaching, regular workshops, team recognition, incentives, and travel opportunities for strong performers.
