Business Development Executive

Salary: £40,000 per annum
Location: London
Working Pattern: 1 day in the London office, 4 days working from home
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join one of the most exciting and fast-growing brands within the beauty and personal care industry.

Working closely with the Business Development Director, you will play an important role in supporting the continued growth and expansion of a highly recognised beauty brand with a strong presence across skincare, haircare, and cosmetics. The brand has been established for many years and has built a huge and highly engaged following, particularly across Instagram and TikTok, with a strong appeal to a young, digitally engaged consumer.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious business development professional who wants to work with a truly exciting beauty brand and play a key role in identifying new commercial opportunities, developing partnerships, and supporting the launch of new products and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Business Development Director to identify and develop new commercial opportunities.
  • Support the continued growth and expansion of the brand across the UK and wider markets.
  • Identify potential partnerships with major retailers, online retailers, and other strategic partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and commercial partners.
  • Support negotiations with retailers and business partners to secure new opportunities and maximize commercial growth.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities across the beauty and personal care market.
  • Assist with the development and execution of business development strategies.
  • Work closely with internal teams across marketing, sales, product, and brand to support commercial initiatives.
  • Support the launch of new products and brand initiatives throughout the year.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities within the beauty industry.
  • Help develop presentations, proposals, and commercial plans for prospective partners.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the brand's retail and online presence.

About You

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years' experience in a similar business development, commercial, sales, or partnerships role, ideally gained within the beauty, cosmetics, or personal care industry.

You will be commercially minded, confident speaking with external partners, and passionate about identifying opportunities that can help a brand grow.

You will have:

  • 1–3 years' experience in a similar business development, commercial, sales, or partnerships position.
  • Previous experience within the beauty, cosmetics, or personal care sector is essential.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • A commercially focused and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • The ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Experience working with retailers and/or online retail partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A genuine passion for beauty, skincare, haircare, and cosmetics.
  • An understanding of social-first brands and the importance of platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
  • Experience supporting or being involved in new brand, product, or market launches would be highly advantageous.
