Business Development Executive – Construction Supplies
Location: Worcester (Office Based)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + KPI Bonus (c£3,000+ OTE)
Hours: 8.30-5pm (Monday to Friday) - Flexibility as needed
Holiday allowance: 24 days + Statutory

You will:
- Identify and engage new customers across the UK construction market.
- Generate qualified leads, enquiries, and meetings for the wider sales team.
- Reignite lapsed customer relationships and uncover new opportunities.
- Research projects, frameworks, and industry developments to create sales opportunities.
- Work closely with account managers, field sales representatives, and coordinators to maximize growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to generate new business opportunities.
- Build relationships with decision-makers including directors, buyers, project managers, and procurement teams.
- Use CRM systems, LinkedIn, industry intelligence, and internal lead sources to identify opportunities.
- Arrange meetings and generate qualified enquiries for the sales team.
- Build multiple contacts within target accounts and strengthen prospect engagement.
- Track activity and performance against agreed KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline management through CRM systems.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven B2B business development, telesales, or lead generation experience.
- Is confident making outbound calls and building rapport with senior decision-makers.
- Knows how to research markets, identify opportunities, and create new business conversations.
- Is self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven.
- Has experience using CRM systems and LinkedIn as a business development tool.
- Enjoys working collaboratively while taking ownership of their own results.
- Is hungry to develop their career within a growing organisation.
