Business Development Executive (Accountancy Practice) | Hybrid / Remote

Location: Central London (Hybrid)

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 + Uncapped Commission

Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing and forward-thinking Accountancy Practice as a Business Development Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating new business and wants to play a key role in the continued growth of a successful firm.

Working closely with the Partners and Senior Management team, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, booking qualified appointments and introducing businesses to the firm's Accounting, Tax, Payroll and Bookkeeping services.

The Role

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound B2B sales activity.
  • Research and identify prospective SME clients.
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline.
  • Make outbound calls, generate your own leads and book qualified appointments.
  • Promote the firm's Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payroll and Tax services.
  • Build long-term relationships with business owners and decision makers.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage follow-up activity.
  • Work closely with Partners and Senior Managers to convert opportunities into new clients.

Following a successful probation period, there is the opportunity to work remotely up to 4 days per week, attending the Central London office just 1 day per week.

Requirements

  • Previous B2B Business Development or Sales experience.
  • Experience selling Accountancy, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Tax, Financial Services or other Professional Services.
  • Previous appointment setting or lead generation experience.
  • A confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, target-driven and self-motivated attitude.
  • The ability to work independently while managing your own pipeline.
