The Opportunity

ICS Learn is building an exciting new B2B sales team as we look to significantly grow our presence within the business-to-business market.

We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join us at the beginning of this journey. This is a predominantly new business role, focused on identifying, engaging and winning new customers across small to mid-sized organisations.

You’ll be joining a brand-new team with the opportunity to help shape how we take ICS Learn to the B2B market. For someone who enjoys winning new business, building relationships and taking an entrepreneurial approach to sales, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your primary focus will be new logo acquisition. You’ll take ownership of developing new business opportunities, understanding the challenges prospective customers face and demonstrating how ICS Learn’s solutions can help.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and developing new B2B opportunities within small and mid-sized organisations.
  • Building and managing your own pipeline of prospective customers using Hubspot.
  • Proactively engaging new prospects through a combination of outbound activity, networking and other business development approaches.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Taking a consultative approach to sales by uncovering customer challenges, priorities and commercial needs.
  • Connecting those needs with relevant ICS Learn solutions and clearly communicating the value we can deliver.
  • Managing opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement and discovery through to proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Using data and insight to prioritise opportunities and make informed commercial decisions.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and opportunity information and providing clear sales forecasts.
  • Sharing customer and market insights to help shape our developing B2B proposition and go-to-market approach.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across ICS Learn to deliver a great experience for prospective customers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
