Business Development Executive – Batched Cocktails - North / West UK
We Are De Kuyper Royal Distillers
At De Kuyper, we are supercharging cocktails. We blend hundreds of years of distilling expertise to deliver award-winning cocktail solutions for the UK On Trade.
We’re looking for talented Business Development Executives on a 12-month fixed term contract to join our growing team and deliver exceptional On Trade growth across Mainstream and Premium outlets in the UK. This role offers the chance to be the face of De Kuyper in your territory, building great relationships, driving cocktail solutions, and delivering great growth for our new batched cocktail range.
About the Role
As a Business Development Executive, you’ll visit a variety of On Trade outlets in your defined territory each day, representing our impressive cocktail batched portfolio. You’ll build strong working relationships with key decision makers, identify outlet cocktail opportunities, and drive sales through excellent training, flawless visibility, and brand advocacy.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships with outlet managers and key decision makers in your territory.
- Actively demonstrate the commercial and operational benefits of the De Kuyper batched range.
- Deliver minimum outlet standards through training, distribution, visibility, and activation.
- Provide actionable market feedback to your internal team.
- Efficiently manage the territory through effective journey planning.
- Complete all reporting and administration promptly and accurately.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.
About You
As this is a driving role visiting numerous outlets in a defined territory each day, you must have a full driving license and use of your own vehicle. Your vehicle must be insured for work use. You should live within — or be able to easily travel within — North-West UK (Leeds - Manchester). Evening work is expected and would be part of your working hours pattern. Previous experience in field sales, retail, or on trade is essential. Strong relationship-building skills, with a professional and proactive approach. Self-motivated, organized, and results-focused.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in sales industry.
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing demonstrated sales success.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- CRM experience is preferred.
- Preferably experience in spirits or FMCG industries.
