We are looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive (BDE) to help grow our employer network and create new apprenticeship opportunities.

From outbound calls, email and LinkedIn outreach to networking and relationship building, you’ll identify new prospects, understand their recruitment and workforce challenges, and connect them with tailored apprenticeship solutions. Please note: This role is Fully On-site, based in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
- Identify and engage employers who could benefit from apprenticeship programmes.
- Qualify leads and book meetings for the Business Development team.
- Understand employer challenges around recruitment, upskilling, and workforce development.
- Promote MetaGedu’s apprenticeship solutions tailored to employer needs.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate pipeline activity.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and operations to improve lead generation strategies.
- Consistently achieve KPIs for outreach, meetings booked, and opportunities created.
- Stay informed on apprenticeship funding, levy changes, and market trends.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A confident, proactive, and resilient attitude.
- Strong ambition to build a career in sales or business development.
- Comfortable speaking to senior decision-makers.
- Organised, self-motivated, and target-oriented.
- Previous B2B sales or recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Passion for education, apprenticeships, and workforce development
