About our client
We're working with a leading, award-winning managed IT services provider that has supported small and mid-sized businesses across the UK since 2008. They look after everything from IT support and cyber security to Microsoft 365 and disaster recovery.
They're growing their sales team and looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive at the start of their career. You'll join a supportive team that works with fun and respect, get full training on the technology, and build the skills for a long career in tech sales.
The role
You will be the first point of contact for new prospects. Your job is to find businesses that are frustrated with their IT and start a conversation about how it could work better. Day to day, you will:

- Research and identify SME prospects across target sectors, including manufacturing, retail and distribution
- Make outbound calls, send emails and use LinkedIn to engage decision makers
- Run discovery conversations to understand a prospect's current setup and pain points
- Book qualified meetings for the wider sales team
- Keep the CRM accurate and up to date
- Work to clear weekly and monthly activity and pipeline targets
What you bring
You do not need an IT background, our client will teach you the technology. They are looking for:
- Confidence on the phone and comfort speaking to business owners and managers
- Curiosity about how businesses run and what gets in their way
- Resilience, self-motivation and a steady approach to rejection
- Strong written and verbal communication
- An interest in technology and a willingness to learn fast

- £28,000 basic salary + on-target-earnings
