About The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on driving sales and expanding our client base for our ERP-related professional services. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong sales background, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence in the ERP professional services sector.
  • Opportunity Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and leveraging industry connections.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and positioning our ERP services as the ideal solution.
  • Proposal Development: Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that address client needs and demonstrate the value of our ERP services.
  • Sales Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close sales deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and client satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, project management, and service delivery, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ERP systems, industry trends, professional services offerings, and competitive positioning.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed based on needs of sales opportunity and wider business.

Necessary Skills/Competencies

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct selling experience into large enterprise organisations, specifically within ERP and professional services/consulting services.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing multiple, complex sales processes simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships within the prospective organization inclusive of identifying and cultivating a strong coach within the account
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify and report on opportunity progression.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of and expertise with leading ERP technologies eg Workday, Salesforce, Dayforce, Oracle
