Business Development Executive (Automotive)

Location: Cannock (Office-Based with UK Travel)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Bonus: Uncapped Quarterly Bonus

Salary: Starting from £32k depending on experience

About Us

Partsworld has been supplying quality automotive parts and components across the UK for over 30 years. We're looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Executive to join our team and play a key role in expanding our customer base and growing existing accounts.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-focused sales professional who enjoys winning new business, developing customer relationships, and delivering outstanding service. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating revenue, and building long-term partnerships with customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate and develop new business opportunities.
  • Proactively contact and engage prospective customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Manage customer enquiries and prepare accurate quotations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service from initial enquiry through to after-sales support.
  • Resolve customer queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts.
  • Monitor sales performance and produce regular reports.
  • Visit customers across the UK to develop and strengthen business relationships.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and operational support.
  • Attend trade shows to keep informed ahead of market trends and identify new customers and opportunities.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded, self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and customer service.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales, business development or account management role.
  • Experience within the automotive industry would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, target-driven approach.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
