Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Executive. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads through outbound and inbound channels, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact to close. The Business Development Executive will conduct product presentations and demonstrations, build relationships with key decision-makers in schools and educational organizations, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with marketing and account management teams to align outreach efforts
- Providing feedback on market trends
- Contributing to sales targets and growth initiatives
The position requires proactive communication, consistent follow-up, and a customer-focused approach to drive adoption of School Jotter’s platform.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with experience identifying and converting prospective clients.
- Strong Business acumen, including understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and commercial decision-making.
- Effective Communication skills, including confident presentation abilities and clear written and verbal interaction with stakeholders.
- Account Management capabilities, with experience nurturing relationships, supporting onboarding, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS, digital products, or education technology.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with strong organizational skills and self-motivation to manage time and priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office productivity software.
- Relevant education or training in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
