Company Description

Foray Motor Group is the South West's award-winning Ford-only dealer group, with dealerships and service centres in Salisbury, Poole, Yeovil, Taunton, Andover, Shaftesbury, Bridgwater, Dorchester and Southampton. The 9 location group, with an annual turnover in excess of £150m, employs circa 400 people, in a wide variety of job roles, and has excellent opportunities for highly motivated, dedicated and talented people. Position

Salary: £34,904.96 basic salary per annum + bonus

Location: Launceston Parts Plus, covering the South West area.

Full-Time | Permanent

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Parts Team, working primarily in and around the South West area. This role will be field based and will come with a Company Car, mobile phone and all the necessary equipment to enable you to carry out your role on the road.

Are you someone who is familiar with the automotive parts industry, passionate about building relationships with new and existing customers and enjoys the challenges of business development and creating a great customer service? Yes? Then this could be the next role for you.

This field-based role provides the autonomy for you to set up your working week as you see fit, allowing you to decide how best to achieve results and business growth across the patch. Support comes from the wider Parts Plus UK team and our Parts Plus Centre Manager, and full training on our systems will be given, so don't worry if some of this is new to you, we would still like to hear from you even if your sales experience isn't in the Ford Parts Plus industry.

If you have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth and are looking for your next career opportunity, Foray Motor Group will provide the support, training and development opportunities throughout your journey with us.

Key areas of the job include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, including regular face to face visits
  • Ensuring you maintain up to date product knowledge to provide the best possible advice and guidance for our customers
  • Keeping an eye on the competition and seeking out opportunities for development and growth
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, to ensure we build genuine relationships with customers that are reflective of their needs
  • Providing outstanding customer service, going above and beyond to ensure our customers stay with us for the future
  • Thinking long term, to identify how we can grow and develop our network
