Business Development Executive, Sales & Account Management
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 plus bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded manufacturer, and we're on the lookout for a confident, people-first sales professional to join their team as a Business Development Executive.
The Opportunity
Our client has built a genuine reputation for excellence in their field, and they're now looking to bring in someone who can help even more organisations discover the value of what they offer. This role isn't about a hard sell, it suits someone who builds relationships through consistency, product knowledge, and a genuine interest in solving customer problems.
You'll split your time between the office and the field: managing a warm portfolio of prospects and existing accounts, following up on inbound interest, reaching out proactively, and meeting clients in person to walk them through what's on offer. The customer base spans a broad mix of sectors, including facilities and logistics teams, prestigious estates, and blue-light services, so no two weeks will look the same.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
