Hypernative is the leading security company in the Web3 space, focused on providing proactive threat detection and mitigation for decentralized finance (DeFi) projects, chains, asset managers, and cryptocurrency exchanges.
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to expand our presence in the APAC region. If you are passionate about blockchain, possess deep regional knowledge, and excel in building strategic client relationships, we want to hear from you.
As the Senior Account Executive, APAC, you will lead Hypernative’s efforts to acquire and manage clients in the region, focusing on both DeFi and CeFi ecosystems. This is a high-impact role that requires a combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, and deep understanding of blockchain technologies and financial systems.
What you will do
- Prospect on channels (LinkedIn, ecosystem and community channels, events, and partners) on a named target account list for your verticals.
- Prospect on real triggers rather than cadence alone: funding rounds, security incidents, protocol and governance events, new chain and product launches.
- Multi-thread into accounts across security, engineering, risk, compliance, treasury, and operations, and run first calls to a real discovery standard. The deliverable is a qualified opportunity, not a calendar slot.
- Work the biggest deals in your verticals as an analyst of record, building account dossiers, business cases, ROI framing, mutual action plans, and competitive comparisons.
- Join strategic calls alongside your senior AE and Sales Engineer, and learn how institutional and enterprise deals are actually won.
- Own and close a book of smaller, faster deals end to end, from first contact to signature. When a deal outgrows your book, it moves to your senior AE, and you keep credit for it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
