Business Development Executive – B2B Technology Sales
Ready to take your sales career to the next level?
Our client, a growing software and consulting business, is looking for a Business Development Executive who’s ready to move beyond telesales and build a career in B2B technology sales.
If you have experience in SDR/BDR, telesales or B2B sales and are hungry to develop your career, this could be an excellent next move.
What will the successful candidate be doing?
The successful candidate will help introduce organisations to solutions that transform how they plan, budget, forecast, and manage performance — working with Finance Directors, CFOs, FP&A teams, IT leaders, and other senior decision-makers.
The role will involve:
- Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities
- Outbound calling, email, and LinkedIn campaigns
- Building relationships with senior decision-makers
- Booking meetings, demos, and discovery sessions
- Developing and managing their own sales pipeline
- Supporting proposals and the wider sales cycle
- Learning consultative selling and enterprise software sales
- Developing their career alongside experienced consultants and business leaders

The ideal candidate will be:
- Naturally confident and great with people

- Comfortable speaking to senior professionals
- Organised and proactive
- Resilient and motivated by targets
- Keen to learn and build a long-term career in sales
Experience in telesales, B2B sales, lead generation, business development, or account management would be ideal.
Experience in software or technology sales would be a bonus — but attitude, ambition, and the desire to develop are more important.
