Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you will do

  • Generate your own outbound pipeline through calls, email, and LinkedIn
  • No inbound queue and no marketing safety net
  • Manage your pipeline end to end and keep accurate CRM records at every stage
  • Work towards structured activity and revenue targets, with real ownership over how you hit them
  • Build daily exposure to merchant banking, capital markets, and international deal origination

Who tends to do well here

  • A genuine track record of working to targets in outbound sales, fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, or event/partnership sales. None of these alone is a dealbreaker if it's missing, but if none of them are present at all, this probably isn't the right role.
  • Resilient, comfortable with rejection as a normal part of the job, not an exception.
  • Self-directed, some evidence of having generated an opportunity from nothing before, even informally.
  • Sharp written and verbal communication, and UK right to work (preferable).
  • Additional fluency in a language relevant to our client base (Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Polish, Ukrainian, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Arabic or similar) is a genuine advantage, not a requirement.
