Salary: £26,000-40,000 salary plus commission, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent

The PP Group is an established sportswear and teamwear business supplying clubs, schools, universities, organisations and professional teams across the UK. As the operator of Macron Sports Hub North Midlands, we provide a complete teamwear service, including playing kit, training wear, leisurewear, personalised online club shops, in-house printing and embroidery, and ongoing account support.

We are looking for an ambitious and personable Business Development Executive to help grow our presence within grassroots sport.

The Opportunity

This role will focus on developing relationships with grassroots sports clubs and organisations across the region, introducing them to The PP Group and helping them improve the way they purchase, manage and distribute their teamwear.

  • Identify new opportunities, speak with club officials and decision-makers, attend meetings and events, prepare proposals, and support new customers through the process of joining The PP Group.
  • The position could suit someone looking to begin a career in sales, sport or teamwear. Full product, systems and sales training will be provided.
  • Alternatively, the role can be adapted for an experienced sales professional with an existing understanding of grassroots sport, teamwear or account development. Responsibilities, package and seniority will reflect the experience of the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach grassroots sports clubs, schools, academies and community organisations.
  • Build relationships with club chairpeople, coaches, kit managers, volunteers and other decision-makers.
  • Arrange and attend introductory meetings, presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Understand each organisation’s requirements and recommend appropriate teamwear, online shop and fulfilment solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial agreements.
  • Manage opportunities from initial contact through to account launch.
  • Work closely with our internal sales, customer service, design, production and operations teams.
  • Attend club events, tournaments, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and manage a structured pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Support the long-term development of newly acquired accounts.
  • Represent The PP Group professionally and positively within the grassroots sports community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
