Regional Business Development Executive
Location: UK (National Travel Required)
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits
Coll-8 is growing, and we're looking for a commercially driven Regional Business Development Executive to help accelerate our expansion across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with experience in logistics, transport, or related sectors to take ownership of the full new business sales cycle. From identifying prospects and developing opportunities through to negotiation, onboarding, and account growth, you'll play a key role in delivering revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
Working closely with the Commercial Director and wider leadership team, you'll have the autonomy to develop your territory while contributing to the continued success of a fast-growing business.
The Role
As a Regional Business Development Executive, you will:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across your territory.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Lead customer meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Create compelling proposals and close profitable new business opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets.
- Support customer onboarding and develop newly won accounts to maximize value.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline reporting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities.
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
- Travel throughout the UK for customer meetings, networking events, and business development activity.

About You
We're looking for a motivated, results-focused individual who enjoys winning new business and building long-term customer relationships.
You will have:
- A proven track record in business development or new business sales.
- Experience within logistics, transport, carrier, parcel, freight, or related sectors.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and delivering against targets.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, self-starting approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Desirable
- Experience within UK-Ireland cross-border logistics.
- Knowledge of customs processes and international freight.
- Existing networks within logistics, transport, or e-commerce sectors.
- Experience working with large or multi-site customers.
