All Pump Solutions LLP (APS) is looking for a well-connected Business Development Executive to help grow our presence across the water, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

We're looking for someone who understands the industry, enjoys developing trusted relationships, and can help create opportunities with contractors, consultants and end clients.

You will play an important part in APS's growth strategy by helping us develop new relationships, strengthen existing ones, and position APS for long-term success across key infrastructure and water industry projects.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, water companies and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify upcoming projects, frameworks and opportunities within the water and infrastructure sectors.
  • Use your network and industry knowledge to open doors and create new conversations.
  • Build a strong understanding of customer challenges and project requirements.
  • Work closely with APS's sales, technical and operational teams to develop opportunities and support successful project delivery.
  • Follow up enquiries and quotations, helping opportunities progress through to order.
  • Maintain accurate records and relationship intelligence within Pipedrive CRM.
  • Represent APS at industry events, meetings and customer visits.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in business development, account management or sales within the water, utilities, infrastructure, engineering or construction sectors.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop trust with customers and industry stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of project-led sales and procurement environments.
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Strong organisational skills and a disciplined approach to managing follow-up activity.

Desirable

  • Existing relationships with contractors, consulting engineers, water companies, infrastructure clients or framework partners.
  • Experience working with or selling into the UK water industry.
  • Knowledge of wastewater, pumping, mechanical, electrical or civil engineering projects.
  • Experience using Pipedrive or a similar CRM platform.
