Telephone / Business Development Executive - Specialist Property Finance
Location: London / Hybrid (3-4 days per week office based)
Salary: £35 - £45k Basic + Bonus + Benefits (Dependent on experience)
We're looking for an office based Telephone / Internal Business Development Manager to join a leading specialist property finance lender, supporting a BDM’s in a client services capacity.
You'll be the first point of contact for their broker network, onboarding new brokers, triaging inbound calls and enquiries, and ensuring every broker gets a fast, professional response, whether that's you resolving it directly or routing it to the right person on the team. This is a genuinely important relationship focused role, you'll be shaping brokers' first impressions of the business and keeping their day-to-day experience running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
- Onboarding new brokers and introducers, guiding them through registration, product knowledge and how best to work with us
- Acting as the first point of contact for inbound broker calls and enquiries, triaging and resolving queries or directing them to the right BDM or departments.
- Supporting a team of experienced BDM’s, following up on leads, and keeping their pipelines moving.
- Building strong telephone relationships with brokers, providing product and criteria guidance where needed
- Maintaining accurate broker and case records on the CRM, ensuring the wider team has visibility of activity and status
- Identifying opportunities to support broader business development activity, including cross selling and highlighting new leads to the sales team

Experience required:
- Candidates must have experience within financial services, either as a Junior BDM, Relationship Manager, Mortgage Broker or Client Services - ideally within BTL or Bridging Finance.
- Confident, professional telephone manner with strong relationship building skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good working knowledge of CRM systems and comfortable picking up new processes and criteria quickly
- A genuine team player who takes pride in providing an excellent broker experience
