Role Description
The Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with prospective learners, partners, and institutions, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to enrollment or partnership agreement. The Business Development Executive collaborates with marketing and academic teams to align outreach with program offerings, maintains accurate records in CRM systems, and prepares regular reports on pipeline activities and performance. The role requires proactive engagement, consistent follow-up, and a consultative approach to understanding client needs and recommending suitable educational solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, with experience creating and managing a high-quality pipeline.
- Solid Business acumen, including understanding of higher education, executive education, or professional services environments.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver clear presentations and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proven Account Management capabilities, including relationship-building, follow-up, and long-term client or partner retention.
- Experience working with CRM tools and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
- Demonstrated ability to work toward targets, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in the education, consulting, or training sector is highly beneficial, along with an interest in global education and lifelong learning.
