Business Development Executive
Build new customer relationships and contribute directly to the growth of client campaigns.
About the opportunity
Relay Direct is a growing UK sales and marketing company helping recognised brands reach new customers through direct, face-to-face campaigns. We are looking for a Business Development Executive who can bring energy, commercial awareness, and a relationship-led approach to customer acquisition.
Working from our Milton Keynes base and across live B2B, B2C, and event campaigns, you will identify new opportunities, understand customer needs, and communicate client offerings with clarity. This role suits someone who enjoys taking initiative and wants their individual activity to have a visible impact on campaign growth.
Your responsibilities
- Engaging customers: Representing leading brands face-to-face
- Driving business growth: Promoting products and services, generating leads, and acquiring new customers.
- Achieving goals: Working towards ambitious performance targets and striving to exceed expectations.
- Building your communication, sales, business, and management skills through ongoing training and mentorship.

Your strengths
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
- Confident starting conversations and building relationships
- Goal-focused, resilient, and comfortable taking ownership
- Previous sales or business development exposure is welcome, but training is provided
Training and development
- A thorough introduction to assigned clients, products, and campaign audiences
- Coaching in prospecting, needs discovery, presenting value, and securing commitment
- Regular reviews of activity, conversion, and customer feedback
- Opportunities to contribute to campaign planning and support team development as you progress

Position at a glance
- Location: Milton Keynes, UK — on-site with field-based campaign activity
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Start date: Immediate availability preferred
