About the role

We're looking for an ambitious, confident, and motivated individual to join us as a Business Generation Executive.

This isn't just another sales role. You'll be the driving force behind identifying new business opportunities, engaging potential clients, and fuelling our growth. Whether you already have telesales or lead generation experience - or you're looking to kickstart your career - we'll give you the training, tools, and support to succeed.

  • Previous experience in the energy sector or knowledge of related products and services is desirable
  • Experience in telesales or cold calling and/or a track record of working in a sales or lead generation environment is desirable
  • Ambitious, confident, and motivated to succeed.
  • Strong resilience and positivity, particularly in challenging situations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships both digitally and in person
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about business, energy, or sustainability.
  • Purpose driven mindset
  • An open and approachable manner, backed up by high moral and ethical standards
  • Proactive attitude that brings drive, energy, and passion to the role
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Full UK drivers licence

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation - Research target industries, identify decision-makers, and qualify opportunities to build a strong pipeline.
  • Prospect Engagement - Make outbound calls, hold conversations with potential clients, and set up meetings for the commercial team.
  • Market Knowledge - Develop an understanding of energy, sustainability, and wider business challenges through training and collaboration with internal teams.
  • CRM Management - Maintain accurate and timely records of leads, calls, and opportunities using the Hubspot CRM system.
  • Networking and Campaign Support - Contribute to marketing campaigns, attend industry events, and use LinkedIn and other platforms to support prospecting activity.
  • Team Collaboration - Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth prospect journeys and positive client experiences.
