Company Description
Reed Commercial Services Ltd is a growing commercial cleaning company providing professional cleaning services to businesses across Norfolk, Suffolk and surrounding areas.
We pride ourselves on delivering reliable, high-quality cleaning services and building long-term relationships with our commercial clients.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious and results-driven salesperson to join our team and help us win new commercial cleaning contracts.
Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to focus specifically on generating new business opportunities for Reed Commercial Services.
This is a new-business sales role, with the main objective being to identify potential commercial clients, make contact with key decision-makers and secure meetings and site visits for our management team.
Your job is to open the door. Our job is to close the deal.
You will be responsible for:
- Researching and identifying businesses that may require commercial cleaning services
- Proactively contacting potential clients by telephone, email, LinkedIn and other channels
- Speaking confidently with business owners, facilities managers, property managers and other decision-makers
- Introducing Reed Commercial Services and understanding potential client requirements
- Generating qualified sales opportunities
- Securing meetings and site visits for our management team
- Following up with prospective clients
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential contracts
- Keeping accurate records of sales activity and opportunities
- Working independently and managing your own diary and workload
- Consistently generating new opportunities and contributing to the growth of the business

Once a qualified opportunity has been generated and a meeting or site visit has been secured, our management team will take responsibility for the site visit, quotation, pricing and contract negotiations.
This allows you to focus on what you do best — finding new customers and getting us in front of them.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in B2B sales, business development or lead generation
- Confident speaking to businesses and senior decision-makers
- Proactive and comfortable generating their own leads
- Persistent and motivated by results
- Excellent at building relationships
- Organised and able to manage their own workload
- Comfortable working independently from home
- Confident using email, telephone and standard business software
Previous experience within commercial cleaning, facilities management or another B2B service industry would be highly advantageous.
Experience of successfully generating or securing commercial cleaning contracts would be a significant advantage.

- £25k - Basic salary – negotiable depending on experience

Commission paid on successful new contracts
Commission
Commission will be paid on successful new commercial cleaning contracts generated through your business development activity.
Commission becomes payable once:
- The contract has been signed; and
- The customer's first month's invoice has been paid.
The more successful contracts you generate, the more you can earn.

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys new business sales.
We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, approach new businesses, speak to decision-makers and create opportunities.
