BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE - Luxury Hospitality & Wellness
The Granite Spa | Aberdeen
Basic Salary + uncapped performance bonus & commission - Full or Part time considered
Corporate Sales - Partnerships - Client Growth
Are you the commercially driven relationship-builder we're looking for?
Are you a natural salesperson who loves opening doors, building relationships and turning opportunities into revenue?
The Granite Spa is looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Executive to help take our multi-award-winning luxury business to its next stage of growth.
This is NOT a sit-behind-a-desk marketing role.
We want a confident relationship builder and proven sales performer who loves picking up the phone, networking, connecting with decision-makers and turning conversations into profitable, long-term relationships.
THE ROLE
You’ll take ownership of generating new business while maximising the huge opportunities already within our existing client base.
You’ll be responsible for:
- New Business – proactively identifying and winning new clients and commercial opportunities.
- Corporate Partnerships – building relationships with local businesses, organisations, hotels and strategic partners.
- LinkedIn & Social Media – confidently using LinkedIn and social media to connect with decision-makers and generate opportunities.
- Telephone Sales – picking up the phone, following up enquiries and confidently converting conversations into bookings and sales.
- Client Relationships – developing lasting relationships with our existing clients to increase loyalty, retention and lifetime value.
- Rebooking & Reactivation – reconnecting with previous clients and ensuring opportunities aren’t lost through lack of follow-up.
- Sales Growth – driving memberships, corporate gifting, luxury experiences, packages, group bookings, organising corporate events and recurring revenue.
- Pipeline Management – building and managing a healthy pipeline of leads, prospects, partnerships and future opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
