Ready to build something?
FMC is entering one of the most exciting chapters in its 31-year history. We’ve recently joined The Simplyhealth Group – bringing together FMC, Simplyhealth and Denplan and creating new opportunities for investment, innovation and growth.
And we’re growing our commercial team.
We’re looking for someone who gets a buzz from meeting new people, spotting an opportunity others might miss and turning a first conversation into a long-term commercial relationship.
You might already work in media. You might come from events, publishing, SaaS, advertising, recruitment, healthcare or another fast-paced B2B sales environment.
So, what’s the opportunity?
Your role is to create opportunity.
You'll be responsible for finding businesses we should be working with, reigniting relationships with previous clients and building a pipeline of new commercial partnerships across FMC's media portfolio.
This isn't a role for somebody who wants to sit behind a desk waiting for enquiries. We want you out there – at exhibitions, conferences, awards, launches and industry events, building relationships across one of the UK's largest professional healthcare sectors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
